Today the PMR’s MFA hosted a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and the Head of the Regional Delegation of the ICRC in Russia, Belarus and Moldova Pascal Cuttat. The ICRC representatives have visited Pridnestrovie for the third time, but it is the first visit of the Head of the Regional Delegation.
Yesterday, the meeting between Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski and US Deputy Assistant Secretary Eric Rubin took place in the PMR’s MFA. Taking part in the meeting was also Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA to the Republic of Moldova William Moser.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held the meeting between Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UK to the Republic of Moldova Philip David Batson.
Today, the Pridnestrovian side requested Political Representatives of the Republic of Moldova in the negotiation process Yevgeny Karpov for clarifications and expressed concerns about the continued destructive actions that escalate tension taken by the Moldovan side.
On September 9, 2014 the OSCE Office in Tiraspol hosted the meeting of the expert (working) groups of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova on Telecommunication and Postal Service. The agreement to hold the session was reached at the meeting of the political representatives on August 25, 2014.The experts had to discuss the problem resulting from unilateral actions taken by Moldova’s authorities in selling radio frequencies used long in Pridnestrovie to Moldovan telecommunications operators (800 MHz frequency range).
