Today, the Pridnestrovian side requested Political Representatives of the Republic of Moldova in the negotiation process Yevgeny Karpov for clarifications and expressed concerns about the continued destructive actions that escalate tension taken by the Moldovan side.
According to the available information, the head of the Pridnestrovian Government delegation, went to Moscow for intergovernmental consultations with the Russian side, First Deputy Prime Minister of Pridnestrovie M.I. Parnas was subjected to a procedure for additional full checking of personal baggage by the Moldovan Customs officers. The need for such measures was motivated by “instructions of the senior executive”.
The Pridnestrovian side paid special attention to the fact that such cases of pressure on representatives of public authorities of the PMR when crossing the RM’s border in the airport of Kishinev had taken place earlier. However, to date no information and clarification on the actual incidents has been received.
The Pridnestrovian side is deeply concerned by what has happened and considers this incident as continued unfriendly provocative steps, and also the criminal prosecution of officials of Pridnestrovie, aimed at further aggravation and escalation of conflicts between Pridnestrovie and Moldova.
