The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR hosted the meeting of Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Alexander Stetsiuk and Charge d’affaires a.i. of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the RM Roy Hans during his first official visit to the republic.
In his welcoming speech Alexander Stetsiuk mentioned, that Pridnestrovie possesses a longstanding experience of successful and fruitful cooperation with the countries of the European Union. In given context he confirmed the interest in the beginning of system communication and in building of contacts with the Dutch side.
The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Moldova Zdenek Krejci.
Welcoming the guest, Vitaly Ignatiev flagged the systematic contacts between Pridnestrovie and the Czech Republic. “We are happy to cooperate with the Czech Republic and are open to any forms of communication,” the Head of the Pridnestrovian MFA stressed out.
Today, a meeting of specialized transport specialists was held at the office of the OSCE Mission in the city of Tiraspol. During the meeting, which was held for the first time in 4 months, its participants had a thorough exchange of views on the current functioning of Vehicle Registration Points in Tiraspol and Rybnitsa, based on the provisions of the Protocol Decision dated April 24, 2018.
The PMR Foreign Ministry held a meeting of the PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev with the Ambassador-at-large of the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia, Vito Grittani, who visited Pridnestrovie for the first time on a familiarization visit. Alexandr Vataman, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie, also took part in the meeting.
Welcoming the guest, Vitaly Ignatiev positively assessed the high dynamics of the diplomatic contacts of Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie at all levels.
The PMR MFA held a meeting between the PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev and the delegation of representatives of mediators and observers in the negotiation process in the “Permanent Conference ...” format.

The Official Representation of Pridnestrovie has opened in Moscow today. The President of the PMR with his wife, senators and deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Pridnestrovian, Russian, Abkhazian, South Ossetian and Nagorno-Karabakh diplomats, social activists, experts, and scientists attended the ceremony.
In the framework of his visit to the capital of the Russian Federation, the PMR Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vitaly Ignatiev, met with the Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Gubarev. Ambassador-at-Large in the rank of Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Ruslan Slobodenyuk, Deputy Director of the Second Department of CIS countries at the Russian Foreign Ministry Vitaly Tryapitsyn and Assistant of Sergey Gubarev, First Secretary Arif Hajiev also attended the meeting.
The Official Representation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Russian Federation will be headed by Leonid Manakov. He was appointed to this position by Decree of the President of the PMR.
The PMR Supreme Council Commission for Foreign Policy approved the candidacy of Leonid Manakov.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR hosted a meeting between the PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev and the Head of the IOM Mission in Moldova, Lars Johan Lonnbaсk, who succeeded Antonio Polosa last autumn.
At a meeting in the President’s office, Vitaly Ignatiev told Vadim Krasnoselsky that the PMR Foreign Ministry received an official notification of the planned visit to Pridnestrovie of the Slovak Foreign Minister, OSCE CiO Miroslav Lajcak. The Head of the PMR Foreign Ministry called the upcoming meeting “a good opportunity to synchronize watches, determine plans for the coming year,” and the Permanent Conference – a working advisory platform with international participation.

A meeting of the PMR Security Council chaired by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky was held today. The central issue on the agenda was the situation related to the introduction of martial law in some regions of Ukraine, including the Odessa and Vinnytsia regions bordering Pridnestrovie.
During the meeting, the members of the meeting agreed a plan of action in the current circumstances. In particular, it was decided to establish a focal point for monitoring and responding to possible changes in the situation.

The PMR’s MFA hosted a meeting between Pridnestrovian Foreign Minister, Vitaly Ignatiev, and a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic headed by State Secretary Lukas Parizek. The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to the Republic of Moldova, Dusan Dacho, also took part in the meeting.
The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of the PMR Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev with the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Claus Neukirch.
During the meeting, they had a thorough and interesting dialogue on the entire spectrum of topical issues of the negotiation process. The situation in the implementation of the agreements signed in November 2017, as well as the Protocol Decision on the participation of vehicles from Pridnestrovie that are not engaged in commercial activities in international road traffic, was analysed in detail.
