The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR hosted a meeting between the PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev and the Head of the IOM Mission in Moldova, Lars Johan Lonnbaсk, who succeeded Antonio Polosa last autumn.
At the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the project activities of IOM, in particular, in the field of safe migration, studies of modern migration processes and the Pridnestrovian diaspora abroad. Vitaly Ignatiev noted the long-term activity of the International Organization for Migration on the Pridnestrovian track and expressed hope that the achieved level of cooperation would be maintained.
As part of the conversation, the interlocutors exchanged views on the parameters and possible directions for further cooperation, as well as on the relevant aspects of the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement.
