Today a meeting of expert (working) groups from Pridnestrovie and Moldova on economic issues took place in the office of the OSCE Mission in Tiraspol.
During the meeting the sides exchanged views on a number of sensitive issues in the field of foreign trade activities of Pridnestrovian economic entities, including those relating to the appearance of the requirements of tax authorities of the Republic of Moldova in relation to economic agents of the PMR, as well as existing administrative barriers for economic entities of the PMR on the part of Moldova.
As previously reported by the press service of the State Security Committee of the PMR, on March 31 at 15:20 at a sector of the state border of Pridnestrovie with Ukraine, near the village Novaya Andriyashevka bordering the locality Rozalovka (Razdelnyansky Raion, Ukraine) there was an incident resulted in severe wound of a citizen of the PMR.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR sent a letter to the Moldovan side informing about the decision taken by the President of the PMR to postpone the requirement of the compulsory automobile liability insurance for car owners of the Republic of Moldova until 14 April.

Today, Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev held a meeting with a delegation of the World Bank headed by Senior Social Development Specialist at the World Bank in Washington Yousif Elfadil.
The meeting discussed issues of bilateral cooperation; in particular, representatives of the World Bank voiced a number of proposals on the realization of the projects in the fields of economy, infrastructure and health.

Today, the PMR’s MFA hosted a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR VitalyIgnatiev and the delegation of the Council of Europe. Taking part in the meeting were Head of the Confidence-Building Measures Division of the Directorate for Political Advice and Co-operation of the Council of Europe Anna Capello and Head of the Confidence-Building Measures Programme of the Council of Europe in Moldova Irina Saakyan.
According to the Embassy of Sweden in Moldova, Swedish film Festival will take place on March 18 -22 in Pridnestrovie’s capital.

Today's meeting between President of the PMR Yevgeny Shevchuk and Prime Minister of Moldova Kiril Gaburich discussed the issue related to the continuation of the dismantling suspended cargo aerial ropeway (funicular) in the cities of Rybnitsa (Pridnestrovie) and Rezina (the Republic of Moldova).
The leaders of the parties announced the instruction given to the representatives on political issues to make the request jointly to Deputy Prime Minister, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin to continue the works.
