Today, on 31 January 2017, the OSCE Mission office in Kishinev hosted a regular meeting of the experts in communications.
During the meeting, subject specialists discussed a wide range of matters concerning uninterrupted work of communications providers of Pridnestrovie and Moldova and the possible mechanisms to settle the existing issues.
As a result of the meeting the heads of expert (working) groups agreed to hold extra internal consultations to identify acceptable terms and topics of the further dialogue.
The President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Moldova Zdenek Krejci. The Czech diplomat visited Pridnestrovie before, but met with the new President of the Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky for the first time. Welcoming the guest, the President noted that “it is the honour to welcome the Ambassador on the Pridnestrovian land”.
The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting between Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Alexander Kremer, World Bank Country Manager for Moldova.
Following the meeting with the delegation of the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Wolf Dietrich Heim answered journalists’ questions.
The diplomat visited Pridnestrovie for the first time in the framework of the Austrian OSCE Chairmanship.
The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev with the OSCE delegation headed by the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Wolf Dietrich Heim. Welcoming the interlocutor, Vitaly Ignatiev appreciated the interaction with the Official Representation of the Republic of Abkhazia, noting traditional interest of Pridnestrovie in intensifying contacts with Abkhazia in all areas.
The Foreign Ministry held a meeting of Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev with a delegation of the Republic of Austria and of the OSCE Mission to Moldova. In particular, the delegation included Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to the Republic of Moldova Christine Freilinger and Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Stephen Young.
