On April 24, 2015 the OSCE office in Bendery hosted a working meeting of experts of Pridnestrovie and Moldova on resolving problems related to criminal prosecution of the officials of the parties initiated in the Republic of Moldova and Pridnestrovie.
Today, in accordance with the agreement reached earlier, the office of the OSCE Mission in Tiraspol hosted the regular meeting of expert (working) groups on the development of transport and road facilities of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova with the involvement of insurance entities.
According to the head of the state, the Russian side during the negotiation process has consistently taken a stand against the imposition of sanctions and other restrictive measures, crippling the Pridnestrovian economy. In addition to this, Russia takes measures to support directly the Pridnestrovian economy. Inter alia, the sides agreed upon the procedures which simplify the supply of the Pridnestrovian products to the Russian markets.
The Foreign Ministry held a meeting of Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in Moldova Pascal Vagogne and the delegation of the Economic Service for the CIS countries and Georgia of the French Embassy in Moscow.
“We have always expressed support for a dialogue both with Kishinev and Kiev in order to consider and resolve burning issues. We have a lot of contradictions in the economy, with the movement of people, capital, and without solving these problems it is impossible to form the climate of trust that will allow to solve more complex political problems,” - drew attention Yevgeny Shevchuk.
President Yevgeny Shevchuk received Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova Farit Mukhametshin. The issues of bilateral relation were the subject of the dialogue.
Attention was paid to the plans of joint events to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It is expected that the solemn presentation of jubilee medals of Pridnestrovie and the Russian Federation to veterans will took place on April 28.
On April 21, 2015 in accordance with the previously reached agreements the special consultations of members of the Permanent Conference on political issues in the framework of negotiations on the Pridnestrovian settlement in the format “5+2” took place in Vienna.
A meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Igor Shornikov with Vice-president of the Skolkovo Foundation Yury Saprykin and Skolkovo Technopark General Director Renat Batyrov was held in the Foreign Ministry.
On April 20, 2015 at the airport in Kishinev the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova detained Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Dmitry Palamarchuk in order to carry out the intensified personal inspection.
The officials of the Moldovan Border Police actually prevented the representative of the Pridnestrovian delegation from departing for Vienna to participate in special informal consultations with the delegations in the “5+2” format.
President Yevgeny Shevchuk held a meeting with representatives of the expert (working) groups from Pridnestrovie for economic issues. We remind that expert (working) groups are an integral supplementary mechanism of the negotiation format “5+2”. The task of the expert groups is the development of proposals and draft decisions on issues in their respective fields for signing at the level of representatives on political issues.
