The Pridnestrovian Moldovan Republic is very encouraged by a decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin “On the recognition of the Republic of Crimea”, as well as the address by the Russian leader dedicated to the accession of two new constituent entities to the Russian Federation: the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
On March 14, 2014 the OSCE office in Tiraspol hosted this year’s first meeting of expert (working) groups of Pridnestrovie and Moldova on telecommunications and postal service.
In the course of the meeting between representatives on political issues in the negotiation process Nina Shtanski and Yevgeny Karpov held today in Tiraspol, the Moldovan side provided information on the implementation of agreements previously reached on cancellation of import excise and environmental tax for Pridnestrovian enterprises.

Today, the PMR’s MFA hosted a meeting between Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for international cooperation, Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Republic of Moldova Philippe Beke.
According to the information received by PMR’s MFA, starting today, March 12, 2014, the state border guard service of Ukraine has reinforced significantly the border crossing for the citizens of the Russian Federation, living in Pridnestrovie.

Today, an opening ceremony of ANO “Dniester-Prut Centre of the RISS” (DPC of RISS) took place in T.G. Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University with the participation of the PMR’s President Evgeny Shevchuk and the Director of the Russian Institute of Strategic Research (RISS) Leonid Reshetnikov.
On March 13, 2014 in 11 a.m. the OSCE Office in Tiraspol will host a meeting between representatives on political issues in the negotiation process Nina Shtanski and Evgeny Karpov with the participation of representatives of the 5+2 format participants.
