On March 13, 2014 in 11 a.m. the OSCE Office in Tiraspol will host a meeting between representatives on political issues in the negotiation process Nina Shtanski and Yevgeny Karpov with the participation of representatives of the 5+2 format participants.
In the course of the meeting the sides plan to discuss a number of issues on education, and, particularly, issues on the functioning of Romanian-language schools in Pridnestrovie, as well as issues on legalization of education documents issued by Pridnestrovian educational institution.
In addition, the Pridnestrovian side intends to give special attention to the implementation of earlier reached agreements on cancellation of excise and environmental tax introduced by the Moldovan side.
At the end of the meeting, taking into account the agreement reached on January 23, 2014 the political representatives of the sides in conjunction with the representatives of the Permanent Conference participants will visit educational institutions located in Tiraspol: public educational institution “D. Kantemir Republican Moldavian Theoretical Lyceum” with Moldovan Cyrillic as a language of tuition, and non-government educational institution “L. Blaga Theoretical Lyceum”, with Romanian as a language of tuition.
