Today, PMR's MFA hosted a meeting between Vitaliy Ignatiev, Deputy Foreign Minister and a delegation of the Ambassadors-at-large for policy issues of the EU Eastern Partnership. The delegation included the representatives of Sweden, Hungary, France, and Latvia.
In the course of the meeting the exchange of views on a number of current issues took place. In particular, they touched upon issues on cooperation between the sectoral expert groups of Pridnestrovie and Moldova; they discussed various issues on collaboration between Pridnestrovie and the European Union. Specific attention was paid to possible negative consequences for Pridnestrovie in connection with the signature of an Agreement on free trade area with the European Union by Kishinev with no regard for interests of PMR's economic agents.
During the meeting Vitaliy Ignatiev highlighted the strategic foreign policy priorities of the PMR, as well as informed about relevant issues of the relationships with international partners of the Republic.
The meeting was held in a constructive and positive atmosphere.
