Acting Foreign Minister of Pridnestrovie Vitaly Ignatiev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Republic of Moldova Matyash Siladi at the MFA of the PMR.
The sides discussed a number of topical issues of bilateral interaction between Pridnestrovie and Hungary in the social and humanitarian sphere, including the prospects for implementation of a number of joint cultural projects in the near future.
A meeting of Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev with Special Envoy of Ukraine for the negotiation process, Ambassador-at-Large Valery Zhovtenko, who made his first visit to Pridnestrovie took place at the PMR's MFA. Expert (working) groups on health issues met in the office of the OSCE Mission in Tiraspol on March 18, 2016. During the meeting the sides exchanged views on a number of topical issues of health care in Pridnestrovie and Moldova.
In particular, the meeting touched upon the methods used to combat socially dangerous infectious diseases, as well as the future prospects of the development of perinatal medicine and immunization.
An open lecture by Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Igor Shornikov was held at T.G. Shevchenko State University. In his speech, the diplomat detailed issues of interaction of the PMR with the Russian Federation, as well as the implementation of the foreign policy of the republic towards the Eurasian integration.
President Yevgeny Shevchuk met with Dmitry Loskutov – an Assistant to Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Special Representative of the Russian President for Pridnestrovie D.O. Rogozin. They discussed the current socio-economic situation in Pridnestrovie and the factors influencing the situation in the republic. The sides also exchanged opinions on the measures taken by the PMR to minimize the negative effects.
Today during the working visit to Moscow Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev had a meeting with Chairman of the State Duma Committee for International Affairs of the Russian Federation Aleksei Pushkov.
The meeting of Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev with member of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Olga Timofeeva was held in Moscow.
The head of the foreign ministry in detail informed the senator, representing the city of Sevastopol in the Federation Council, on the current situation in and around the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. At the meeting Vitaly Ignatiev made a special emphasis on the nature and extent of the negative impact of external factors on the socio-economic situation in the republic.
