Expert (working) groups on health issues met in the office of the OSCE Mission in Tiraspol on March 18, 2016. During the meeting the sides exchanged views on a number of topical issues of health care in Pridnestrovie and Moldova.
In particular, the meeting touched upon the methods used to combat socially dangerous infectious diseases, as well as the future prospects of the development of perinatal medicine and immunization.
The Pridnestrovian side informed about a number of positive changes in the health system that took place over a two year period, and outlined the prospects for the development of priority areas of medicine.
Moldovan experts, in turn, shared their views on the ongoing process of optimization and development of the Moldovan health system.
The sides agreed to continue the discussion of topical issues of public health protection.
