The Pridnestrovian President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Alexander Pankin, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation at the Reception House of the Russian Foreign Ministry. The event took place in a working breakfast format. Vitaly Ignatiev, the Head of the Foreign Ministry and Alexei Polishchuk, Director of the Second Department of the CIS Countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry together with his deputy Alexander Kondakov attended the meeting as well.
Being in the Russian capital, the Head of the Pridnestrovian State met with Farit Mukhametshin, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs. Years of diplomatic interaction associate the Russian statesman with Pridnestrovie: from 2012 to 2018, Farit Mukhametshin headed the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Moldova and used to be a frequent guest of Pridnestrovie; he is well acquainted with the situation in the republic and around its perimeter and is firsthand acquainted with the history of the Permanent Conference..." format functioning.
The Pridnestrovian President arrived in the Russian capital on a working visit. A number of meetings with representatives of the State Duma, the Federation Council, the Russian Foreign Ministry and other government agencies and Russian departments are planned for the coming days.
