Comments of the Head of the MFA of the PMR to mass media regarding the signing of the Moldovan-Ukrainian protocol on the organization of joint control at the international checkpoint “Pervomaisk - Kuchurgan”
The PMR’s MFA hosted a meeting of Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev with a delegation of Austrian diplomats which included Head of Department for Eastern Europe, Western Balkans, South Caucasus, Central Asia and Central Europe of the Ministry for European and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria Heidemaria Gurer, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Austria in Moldova Gerhard Reiweger and Head of the Austrian Development Agency in Moldova Gerhard Schaumberger.
The meeting between President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk and Deputy Prime Minister, Special Representative of the Russian President on Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin took place on November 3 in Moscow. They discussed the situation related to the effects of external pressure on the economy and transport logistics of Pridnestrovie. Particular attention was paid to the adverse external impulses that complicate the social and economic situation of Russian citizens residing in Pridnestrovie and compatriots.

The annual data book on armed forces around the world The Military Balance 2015 calls a “hybrid war” capture and subordination of the territory with the help of large-scale, rapid informational, electronic and cyber operations, cover-up and concealment of military and intelligence operations taking place together with intense economic pressure”.
The message addressed to the Russian counterparts emhasized that November 4, 1612 became truly a milestone event in the history of Russia, which marked the liberation from burden of foreign invaders and the beginning of a new stage in the development of a great country.
President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk and Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Gubarev held a meeting in the capital of the Russian Federation. They discussed issues related to the situation in the negotiation process. We remind that the official meetings in the “5+2” format have not been conducted for almost one and a half year.
