The PMR President received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Moldova. The working discussion began with congratulations. Oleg Vasnetsov celebrates his 70th birthday today. Greeting the Ambassador, Vadim Krasnoselsky praised his merits in the diplomatic service in general and in the consolidation and development of the Pridnestrovian-Russian relations in particular.

The Head of the PMR Official Representation in the Russian Federation, Leonid Manakov, addressed the participants of the 54th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva in an online format. He stressed that Pridnestrovians continue to face extensive restrictions in all spheres of life activity and violation of fundamental rights and freedoms on the part of Moldova.

A meeting between Vadim Krasnoselsky and US diplomats took place in the Pridnestrovian Presidential Administration. The delegation, which arrived in Tiraspol, was headed by U.S. Ambassador to Moldova Kent Logsdon. The PMR Foreign Minister, Vitaly Ignatiev, also took part in the meeting.

The meeting of expert (working) groups on economic issues, initiated by Pridnestrovie, took place at the OSCE Mission’s office. The Pridnestrovian delegation, led by Sergey Obolonik, included heads of large industrial enterprises, the Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs of Pridnestrovie, representatives of the Foreign Ministry, the State Customs Committee, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is deeply concerned about the developments around the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

With pain in our hearts we receive the reports about the outbreak of a military operation in the conflict zone. We empathize with the brotherly people of Artsakh and believe that no political objectives or ambition can justify the use of weapons and the loss of human life.
