A press conference was held in the international multimedia press center of the Russia Today news agency with Vitaly Ignatiev, Pridnestrovian Foreign Minister, and Alexei Pushkov, Chairman of the Provisional Commission of the Federation Council on Information Policy and Media Relations. The event was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the peacekeeping operation on the Dniester.
PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with members of the delegation of the U.S. Embassy in Moldova, headed by Kent Logsdon, at the Pridnestrovian President’s Administration. Welcoming the Ambassador, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that he appreciated the opportunity to communicate with an experienced and knowledgeable diplomat.
PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev is on a working visit to Moscow. As part of the visit, the Foreign Minister attended a round table on Russia’s Participation in the Peacekeeping Operation in Pridnestrovie: 30 Years of Peace and Stability in the Region, organized on the platform of the Federation Council. Representatives of the Federation Council Committees on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security, the State Duma, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Russian Defense and Foreign Affairs Ministries, and the expert community were among those invited.
