The routine removal of ionizing radiation sources from Pridnestrovie took place on October 17, 2019.
In particular, the Issledovatel (Researcher) gamma installation was dismantled and removed from the Pridnestrovian Agricultural Research Institute Public Institution. This equipment was used before in agriculture for plant genetics research. It contained 36 Cobalt-60 type IRS.
The OSCE Office in Kishinev hosted a meeting of phytosanitary experts from Pridnestrovie and Moldova.
During the meeting, they discussed in details import of seeds and planting material. The parties started the alignment of agreement on parameters for cooperation in this area.
Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting between Minister Vitaly Ignatiev and Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Claus Neukirch. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Foreign Minister of Pridnestrovie Alexander Stetsiuk and Ambassador-at-Large in the rank of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Ruslan Slobodenyuk.
