The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev with the delegation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden in the Republic of Moldova led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Signe Burgstaller.

Welcoming the guests, Vitaly Ignatiev highly appreciated the Swedish side’s desire to develop contacts with Pridnestrovie. “I expect that we will further expand cooperation in such important areas as socio-humanitarian and cultural cooperation,” the Foreign Minister said.

On February 21, 2018, a meeting of expert (working) groups from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova on development of transport and road infrastructure took place in the OSCE Mission office in Kishinev. Political representatives Vitaly Ignatiev and Kristina Lesnik also participated in the discussion.

During the meeting, the parties have thoroughly discussed all the relevant aspects of the mechanism under development for participation of Pridnestrovian motor transport in international road traffic.

The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and the OSCE delegation led by Adviser to the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Plenipotentiary Minister of the General Directorate for Policy and Security of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Alfredo Conte. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Michael Scanlan.

The parties signed Protocol Decision on cooperation in the field of veterinary, quarantine and plant protection

The first meeting in 2018 of political representatives from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova Vitaly Ignatiev and Kristina Lesnik took place in the OSCE Mission office in Kishinev.
