Today, the President of the PMR Yevgeny Shevchuk met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to the Republic of Moldova Farit Mukhametshin. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for international cooperation, Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski.
The participants discussed the actual issues of bilateral cooperation, inter alia inter-government coordination on the realization of the “Rogozin-Shevchuk” Protocol.
The discussion of the detention of the Pridnestrovian journalists at the border with Moldova caused contentious debate between the political representatives during the meeting held today.
