The President of the PMR Met the UN Senior Expert on Human Rights in Pridnestrovie

The Head of the State Yevgeny Shevchuk received the UN Senior Expert on Human Rights in Pridnestrovie. Exchange of opinions on several aspects of the report drawn up by Thomas Hammarberg took place at the Office of the President. It will be recalled that the UN Senior Expert on Human Rights in Pridnestrovie studied situation in the Republic during the whole 2012. He visited a number of detention facilities, institutions of health care and social protection, and exchanged views with the representatives of the executive and judicial branches.

Filat on the margins of the “Permanent Conference” in Lvov scheduled for February 18-19 a. c.
