Statement by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic in Connection with International Recognition of Independence of the Republic of Southern Sudan

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic welcomes the recognition by international community of a new state – the Republic of Southern Sudan. PMR’s MFA is pleased to note, that the results of direct expression of popular will, held in this country at the beginning of 2011, became legal base for the recognition of independence of Southern Sudan.
