On September 15, 2011, the solemn unveiling of bust to outstanding Commander Alexander Suvorov took place in Bendery. The monument to the military commander occupied its place in the Pantheon of Russian Glory near the walls of Bendery Fortress where busts of such famous Russian military figures as Nikolay Rayevskiy, Matthias Miller, Rumyantsev and Kutuzov have already been established.
On September 8-9, 2011, German town Bad Reichenhall hosted the Conference on wider confidence building measures in Moldova-Pridnestrovie settlement process initiated by Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
