Today, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Sergey Simonenko held the meeting with Political-Economic Section Chief of United States Embassy in Moldova Gregory M. Winstead. Participating in the meeting which took place in PMR's foreign office was also representative of U.S. Department of State Scott Griffin.
The interlocutors discussed current situation on the Dniester, as well as prospects for relations normalization between the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic and the Republic of Moldova. The diplomats also exchanged views on the results of Conference on Wider Confidence Building Measures which took place on September 8-9, in Bad Reichenhall.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
