Welcoming the guests, Alexandr Stetsiuk noted that development of cooperation with the UN is one of the priorities of Pridnestrovie’s foreign policy and, in this context, Pridnestrovie took note that the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement was included in the priorities of the UN for 2018.
The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev with the delegation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden in the Republic of Moldova led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Signe Burgstaller.
Welcoming the guests, Vitaly Ignatiev highly appreciated the Swedish side’s desire to develop contacts with Pridnestrovie. “I expect that we will further expand cooperation in such important areas as socio-humanitarian and cultural cooperation,” the Foreign Minister said.
On February 21, 2018, a meeting of expert (working) groups from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova on development of transport and road infrastructure took place in the OSCE Mission office in Kishinev. Political representatives Vitaly Ignatiev and Kristina Lesnik also participated in the discussion.
During the meeting, the parties have thoroughly discussed all the relevant aspects of the mechanism under development for participation of Pridnestrovian motor transport in international road traffic.

Today, on January 31, 2018, a meeting of expert (working) groups on economic issues was held in the Tiraspol office of the OSCE Mission. At the meeting, the parties finalized and initialed the draft Protocol Decision on cooperation in the field of veterinary, quarantine and plant protection at the level of the leaders of expert (working) groups.
Before, the mass restriction for vehicles on the bridge was 3.5 tons.
On January 31, 2018, following the agreements reached during the meeting of expert (working) groups on transport and road infrastructure on January 24 this year, relevant specialists from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova took a joint trip to the bridge over the Dniester River in the area of the Bychok and Gura-Bykului villages.

On December 15, 2017, as part of the visit to the Italian capital, Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Chairman of the Bendery City Council of People’s Deputies Yury Kara took part in the opening of the central office of the House of Friendship Italy-Pridnestrovie. The official ceremony was also attended by member of the Senate of Italy Luigi Marino, President of the Italy-BRICS Association Matteo Peggio, Ambassador of South Ossetia in Italy Mauro Murgia, public and cultural figures, as well as media representatives.
Today in Rome, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev held a press conference for Italian media, dedicated to the results of his visit to the Italian capital. The event at the headquarter of the House of Friendship Italy-Pridnestrovie was attended by correspondents of La Repubblica, Il Manifesto and Contropiano, news agencies Sputnik Italia and Eurasia News, as well as other media.
XI European Forum “EU 2017 and the Russian Revolution of 1917: lessons learned” took place on the site of the European Parliament in Brussels on December 3-4, 2017. Pridnestrovie was represented at the forum by Deputy Chairperson of the Supreme Council of the PMR Galina Antyufeeva and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev.
The only round of negotiations in the 5+2 format this year has ended in the capital of the Austrian Republic
On November 27-28, a meeting of the “Permanent Conference...” in the 5+2 format was held in Vienna. The only round of talks in the international format this year ended with an official briefing for the media with participation of political representatives from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova, as well as the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Wolf Dietrich Heim and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Michael Scanlan.
Today, on November 23, 2017, a working meeting of political representatives from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova Vitaly Ignatiev and Gheorghe Balan took place in Kishinev. The dialogue was held in the conference hall of the Kishinev airport upon the arrival of the PMR Foreign Minister from his official trip to the capital of the Russian Federation. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Alexandr Stetsiuk and Ambassador at Large of the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ion Stavila.
Today, on November 20, 2017, a working meeting of political representatives from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova Vitaly Ignatiev and Gheorghe Balan was held in Kishinev. The talks took place in the conference hall of the Kishinev airport before the departure of the PMR Foreign Minister on a working trip to the capital of the Russian Federation.
