Yesterday in the thematic discussions on areas of instability in Europe, held at the platform of the Gorchakov Fund project “Dialogue in the name of the Future” Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Dmitry Palamarchuk made a report on the current situation around Pridnestrovie. The diplomat pointed out that today in Eastern Europe a kind of conglomerate of poverty, underdevelopment and hopelessness is artificially created, the only purpose of which is to export these phenomena, their extrapolation to the neighbouring territories.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Dmitry Palamarchuk was a guest on the morning broadcast of Radio 1. The conversation focused on the preservation of a beneficial trade regime with the EU for the Pridnestrovian enterprises, as well as on a number of current challenges and threats of the external nature, which Pridnestrovie faces.

The diplomat said that over the past two years of the Swiss-Serbian chairmanship of the OSCE the negotiation process on the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement degraded in many ways.
“A comprehensive settlement formula is intended to be searched by the multilateral international mechanism specially created for this purpose”, - she said on her Facebook page.
The former political representative of Pridnestrovie Nina Shevchuk on her Facebook page commented on the declaration related to the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement, which was adopted as a result of 22 Ministerial Council in Belgrade.
It seems more important for Kishinev “to shout down” Pridnestrovie in the information field, rather than consistently work towards resolving the problems, said the Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR
The Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie was working on the idea to hold the representative Serbian-Pridnestrovian Forum some time ago. Pridnestrovie has proceeded from existence of mutual interest in establishing economic cooperation with the Republic of Srpska, as well as cultural and civilized dialogue.
Head of the Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie has commented on the incidents at Kishinev airport, during which RM’s competent authorities denied entry to several participants of the Pridnestrovian-Serbian international conference, including citizens of the Republic of Srpska and the Russian Federation.

The introduction by Moldova and Ukraine of the joint customs control at the Pridnestovian-Ukrainian border bears a number of risks to the economy of Pridnestrovie and even threatens the food security of the republic. Losses of the PMR may amount to tens of millions of dollars. Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Boltrushko told about it in the interview to the Novosti Pridnestrovya News Agency.
