The meeting between the political representatives Nina Shtanski and Yevgeny Karpov scheduled to be held on March 20 and 21 a.c. will not take place regarding the initiative of the Moldovan side to postpone the meeting at a later time.
Today, the PMR’s MFA hosted a meeting with the working group ANO “Social and Industrial Food Service Institute” which is currently on a visit to the Republic within the framework of the project Social support to Pridnestrovie implemented through ANO “Dniester-Prut Centre of the RISS”.

On March 14, 2014 the OSCE office in Tiraspol hosted this year’s first meeting of expert (working) groups of Pridnestrovie and Moldova on telecommunications and postal service.
In the course of the meeting between representatives on political issues in the negotiation process Nina Shtanski and Yevgeny Karpov held today in Tiraspol, the Moldovan side provided information on the implementation of agreements previously reached on cancellation of import excise and environmental tax for Pridnestrovian enterprises.
According to the results of the meeting between political representatives of the sides held today in Tiraspol the participants visited public educational institution “D. Kantemir Republican Moldavian Theoretical Lyceum” with Moldovan Cyrillic as a language of tuition, as well as non-government educational institution “L. Blaga Theoretical Lyceum”, with Romanian as a language of tuition.
Today, the PMR’s MFA hosted a meeting between Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for international cooperation, Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Republic of Moldova Philippe Beke.
According to the information received by PMR’s MFA, starting today, March 12, 2014, the state border guard service of Ukraine has reinforced significantly the border crossing for the citizens of the Russian Federation, living in Pridnestrovie.
In yesterday’s comment the Information and Press Department of the Russia’s MFA assessed a number of statements made by Mr. Karpov in his interview to the Moldavian TV channel UNIMEDIA, as well as shared its “mixed feelings” caused by a fairly detailed coverage of positions held by the participants in talks on the part of Moldova’s representative in the negotiation process.
