On August 1, 2001, at the invitation of Rector of T.G. Shevtchenko Pridnestrovien State University S.I. Beril, PMR's Deputy Foreign Minister Vitaliy Ignatiev took part in working meeting, dedicated to topical issues of cooperation in the field of information and publishing.
State adviser to the President of PMR A.Z. Volkova, Director of the Scientific-Research Institute of Strategic Analysis and Forecasting “Perspective” I.N. Galinskiy, chief research fellow of the SRISAF “Perspective” I.M. Blagodatskih and other responsible persons also participated in the meeting.
The participants of the meeting discussed concrete directions of teamwork on preparing of scientific and expert events, publishing of theme printed matter, plans of cooperation within the context of events, dedicated to the 21st Anniversary of creation of the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic.
Special attention was paid to practical parameters of development of cooperation of the Pridnestrovien foreign office with State University on the organization of joint scientific events with the participation of international representatives and further social and informational presentation of the results. In particular, the preparation for publishing of scientific collection on the outcome of international forum “The UN and it's role in the system of international relations” and roundtable meeting, dedicated to current peculiarities of Moldova-Pridnestrovie settlement in the light of positions of the sides and international experience.
At the end of the meeting interlocutors settled to continue system interaction on this topical direction.
