The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of Minister Vitaly Ignatiev and Her Britannic Majesty’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Moldova Lucy Joyce. Deputy Head of the Embassy Gary Davies also took part in the meeting.
Welcoming the guests, Vitaly Ignatiev highly appreciated experience of cooperation with the British side and expressed gratitude for implementation of humanitarian projects. Head of the Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry flagged the support provided by the Embassy to Pridnestrovian emergency and fire response authorities.
During the meeting, interlocutors also discussed the current situations in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova. Vitaly Ignatiev turned attention of Lucy Joyce to the low dialog dynamics and highlighted the main issues that require the top attention of the sides and international participants to the 5+2 format.
Concluding the meeting, the sides agreed to maintain contacts on issues of mutual interest.
