The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova Lucy Joyce during her first visit to Pridnestrovie since the appointment.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation. In particular, the sides exchanged views on the prospects for the continuation of humanitarian projects implemented in Pridnestrovie through the British Embassy.
The discussion also touched upon some aspects of the situation in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova. In particular, Vitaly Ignatiev directed attention of Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the actual refusal of the Moldovan side from a substantive dialogue with Pridnestrovie and continued practice of unilateral restrictive actions by Kishinev towards the PMR.
