Today, on April 3, 2015, a regular meeting of the expert (working) groups of the Republic Moldova and Pridnestrovie on transport and road facilities was held in Bendery office of the OSCE Mission to Moldova.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues on the agenda of the work of relevant experts of the parties, including cooperation in the field of liability insurance of owners of vehicles registered in Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova, as well as in the field of international passenger transportation by road.
The Pridnestrovian side put forward substantive proposals on the mechanism of interaction between the authorized bodies of Pridnestrovie and Moldova in the field of motor vehicle liability insurance aimed at ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the owners of vehicles registered in the territory of the parties. The experts agreed to work expeditiously on the submitted proposals to achieve a mutually acceptable agreement in that area.
The Moldovan side at the meeting informed of activities aimed at elimination of the difficulties encountered by the Pridnestrovian companies carrying out passenger transportation between Moldova and Pridnestrovie.
