Today Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Nina Shtanski met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in the Republic of Moldova Bogumil Luft. Participating in the meeting also were the PMR's Deputy Foreign Minister Vitaliy Ignatiev and officials from Polish diplomatic representative office.
During the meeting interlocutors discussed prospects of economical and humanitarian interaction between Poland and Pridnestrovie.
Bogumil Luft reported on a number of projects that are realized in Rybnitsa region in the sphere of medicine. He also told about stable connections between Poland and the PMR's business quarters and expressed interest of the Polish side towards active development of existing potential of economical cooperation of the two states. Ambassador also noted, that a sizeable Polish diaspora is living on the Pridnestrovien territory, and Embassy is intended to render it necessary support.
In her turn Nina Shtanski noted, that cooperation with Embassy of the Republic of Poland may become good basis for realization of certain projects, directed on improving of conditions of vital functions of Pridnestrovien population. She paid attention to considerable experience of Polish diplomats in implementation of various social and humanitarian projects and expressed the opinion, that present practice is in demand in Pridnestrovie.
The sides arranged to develop the advancing cooperation on directions of mutual interest.
