On July 17, 2012 Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR saw Coordination Meeting of the heads of expert groups, dedicated to the discussion of difficulties which Pridnestrovian enterprises face while implementing their foreign economic activity. Representatives of a number of leading Pridnestrovian enterprises, representatives of Ministry of Economic Development, Chamber of Commerce and Industry and State Customs Committee participated in the meeting. The event was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev.
Overwhelming part of restrictions in the activity of Pridnestrovian enterprises on external markets appeared in 2006. In 2007-2008 intermediaries solutions were reached upon some of them. As it was mentioned during the sitting, mechanisms of complex settlement of existing complications are necessary at present moment.
Additional taxation from the side of the Republic of Moldova, the demands of Moldovan organs of power on holding of accounting transactions and documentation of enterprises only according to the standards of the RM, collection of ecological dues and duties for phytosanitary and veterinarian control, - as marked by Vitaly Ignatiev, - form not a complete list of first priority problems. During the conversation the participants of the meeting defined which steps it is necessary to take at present time.
At the end of the meeting Vitaly Ignatiev noticed in his interview to journalists, that due to the documents signed recently in Vienna, the PMR's MFA received additional possibilities for discussion of problems of foreign economic activity of Pridnestrovian enterprises on the level of 5+2 format. “At the earliest possible time we will undertake a number of actions, including those on the level of format of “Permanent Consultations” in order to the topic of foreign economic activity to be considered in the framework of basket on socio-economic issues,” he noticed. Diplomat expressed hope, that the problem of normalization of activity of the PMR's enterprises will become one of the key ones during future consultations in 5+2 format.
