Today meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Nina Shtanski with the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia headed by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kazbulat Tskhovrebov took place in the PMR's MFA. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev, Councilor of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the South Ossetia's MFA Sergei Tadtayev and Head of the Official Representation (Embassy) of the Republic of South Ossetia in Pridnestrovie Sergei Surago also took part in the meeting.
During the dialogue the parties discussed wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation of Pridnestrovie and South Ossetia. Interlocutors pointed out the importance of traditional friendly relations between fraternal republics and stressed out the necessity of further constructive work in social and humanitarian and political spheres.
“In Pridnestrovie we always feel support of South Ossetia and we highly appreciate spiritual cognation between our peoples”, – Nina Shtanski noted. Minister informed that experience of South Ossetia as a recognized nation is important for Pridnestrovie.
