Today, the OSCE Office in Kishinev hosted the meeting of expert (working) group on economic issues of Pridnestrovie and Moldova. The meeting was agreed to take place on April 7 a.c by the representatives on political issues.
The experts continued the dialogue on development of a new, more effective mechanism of land use by Moldovan farmers in Dubossary District of Pridnestrovie.
During the meeting the Pridnestrovian side informed that the PMR's Government had approved the special simplified land use mechanism whereby 17 conscientious farmers might continue cultivating the land plots in Dubossary District of Pridnestrovie.
Despite some continuing contradictions in the concept vision on the renewed land use mechanism, the meeting participants started to discuss the articles of the draft document within the framework of earlier proposals of Pridnestrovie. A number of regulations of the new mechanism was agreed.
It is expected that discussion of land use issues will be continued on April 14 at the meeting between the representatives on political issues of Pridnestrovie and Moldova.
