During the conversation interlocutors discussed parameters of further cooperation in the sphere of humanitarian interaction. György Varda spoke of interaction between Hungary and Pridnestrovie in 2010 on perpetuation of the memory of Hungarian prisoners of war and civil persons – victims of World War II with gratitude. This cooperation resulted in the opening of “Hungarian sector” of burial places on Historical War Memorial in Bender. During the meeting interlocutors also discussed issues connected with range of problems of Moldova-Pridnestrovie settlement. György Varda reported, that Hungary as the member of the European Union, is interested in preservation of peace and security on its' borders and, taking into consideration deep historical connections uniting Hungary with this European region, Budapest hopes to make its' own contribution in strengthening of stability on the Dniester.

Nina Shtanski noted, that during the latest months Pridnestrovie has made a great deal of steps in the direction of approaching to Moldova and hopes, that opposite movement will be made from the side of Kishinev.  The tactics of “small steps” actively promoted by Tiraspol, can create basis for mutually beneficial social-economic cooperation of the sides. According to her, settlement of a number of issues in nonpolitical sphere in relations between Kishinev and Tiraspol may become a good impact into the fortification of regional security.
