Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Transdniestria hosted the meeting of the Transdniestria's Deputy Head of the foreign policy department of the Republic, Sergey Simonenko, with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Germany to Moldova, Berthold Johannes.
The diplomats exchanged views on the present-day situation in the Moldova-Pridnestrovie settlement process and considered matters as regards the preparation for a review conference on confidence-building measures to take place on 9-10 November in the German town of Garmisch. Representatives from Moldova and Transdniestria are expected to take stock of the work of expert (working) groups in 2010.
The participants of the meeting in the PMR's MFA discussed also the prospects for the evolvement of trade and economic cooperation between Germany and Transdniestria.
