During his visit to the United Kingdom, PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Great Britain Alexander Yakovenko. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev.
The parties discussed a number of topical aspects of Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation, including in the context of future development of bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, social, humanitarian and economic spheres. In particular, they considered possibility of introducing new technologies in the field of finance on the territory of Pridnestrovie.
During the meeting, there was a substantive exchange of views on the current situation in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova. The interlocutors noted fundamental identity of positions and approaches to solving the entire range of issues that had accumulated in the relations of the parties.
