The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of the Minister Vitaly Ignatiev with the Head of the Official Representative Office of the Republic of South Ossetia in Pridnestrovie Vitaly Yankovsky.
The participants discussed the current agenda for bilateral cooperation and summarized the results of 2025. They agreed that, despite objective circumstances related to logistics and other aspects, Pridnestrovie and South Ossetia have the potential to intensify cooperation in various areas. In this context, the prospects for the implementation of certain projects in the social, humanitarian and cultural spheres were touched upon.
During the meeting, the diplomats outlined plans to establish contacts between the foreign ministries and official representative offices of the two countries. Attention was also paid to the international situation surrounding Pridnestrovie.
Concluding the meeting, the parties agreed to continue systematic dialogue on a wide range of issues of mutual interest.
