Today, a meeting of expert (working) groups on economic issues was held at the OSCE Mission office in Bendery in the presence of mediators and observers.
The agenda included topics related to the unjustified imposition of customs duties on economic agents in Pridnestrovie and obstacles to the export operations of some Pridnestrovian enterprises.
It was noted that the restrictive measures imposed by the Republic of Moldova are one of the factors provoking inflationary processes in Pridnestrovie and negatively affecting the budget of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
The issue of rolled metal exports was also raised, including in light of negotiations on European Union quotas.
Along with this, experts discussed the methodology for collecting and using statistical data, taking into account current standards and trends, as well as specific aspects of cooperation in the field of phytosanitary, veterinary and other quality control of goods.
