The Foreign Ministry hosted the meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandr Stetsiuk and the delegation of the Norwegian Refugee Council which included the organization’s Regional Manager, Eka Gvalia, and programme coordinator Tatiana Bogac.
The interlocutors focused on analyzing and discussing the results of cooperation in 2023. In particular, the Norwegian side described the projects implemented in the past year to support refugees, children and other vulnerable groups.
In addition, the sides discussed the prospects of activity for the next period, including specific project initiatives, as well as the options of assistance that could be provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the operation of the Norwegian Refugee Council on the territory of Pridnestrovie.
At the end of the meeting the sides agreed to keep working contacts on the whole range of issues of mutual interest.
