The Foreign Ministry hosted the meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandr Stetsiuk and the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Welcoming the guests, the Deputy Minister positively assessed the existing bilateral interaction, which is intensive and constructive.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the results of the work in 2023, as well as the prospects of activity of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Pridnestrovie. In this context, the representatives of the organization informed about the ongoing projects on assistance in providing equipment for the ambulance stations and the Republican Clinical Hospital, support for refugees and their host families, as well as educational programmes in the field of international humanitarian law and medicine. It was noted that these projects will be continued next year.
Alexandr Stetsiuk thanked the ICRC for support and project initiatives, expressing the Pridnestrovian side’s readiness for further substantive cooperation.
