The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR hosted a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandr Stetsiuk and Bea Ferenci, Human Rights Adviser to the UN Office in Moldova.
The meeting reviewed the 2022 cooperation results and discussed plans for further interaction. In particular, the sides noted their joint contribution to drafting the Human Rights Framework in Pridnestrovie and exchanged views on the prospects for implementing projects as part of the UN Peacebuilding Fund.
The interlocutors expressed the need to depoliticize the human rights aspects in the negotiation process and the importance of a constructive dialogue in the best interest of the people.
Closing the meeting, the sides agreed to continue meaningful discussion of human rights project initiatives.
