Today, a regular meeting of expert (working) groups from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova on regulatory and document support of citizens took place via videoconference.
During the meeting, the experts addressed issues related to the resumption of interaction between the civil registry authorities and archival services with a view to resolving the numerous problems the citizens face in the processing of documents.
In particular, a common understanding was reached as to the parameters of compliance with the data protection requirements currently in effect in Pridnestrovie and Moldova. This refers to the information containing personal details of citizens, including the forms of consent to process such information.
Following the results of the meeting, the sides agreed to continue substantive work to develop a fully functional mechanism of cooperation between the Pridnestrovian and Moldovan civil registry authorities.
