PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev sent a congratulatory message to the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia on the occasion of Day of Victory and Independence.
“On September 30, 1993, the people of Apsny defended their independence, preserving their identity, values and traditions. Unity and courage, cohesion and strength of spirit allowed them to overcome the difficulties of that turning point. Today Abkhazia, a country with a rich history stretching back to the depth of centuries, is developing dynamically and is confidently following the path of building a sovereign, rule-of-law and democratic state,” the congratulation reads.
Vitaly Ignatiev noted the high level of good friendly relations between our countries and wished the Abkhaz people peace, wellbeing and prosperity.
