On September 2, the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic celebrated the 32nd anniversary of its founding. The official celebrations in the capital traditionally opened with a wreath-laying and flower-laying ceremony at the Glory Memorial. It was attended by PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, heads and representatives of state authorities and administration, including Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev, servicemen, and the public. The official part continued with the raising of Pridnestrovian and Russian flags and a performance by the Honor Guard Company and the orchestra of the General Staff of the PMR Armed Forces.
The Foreign Ministry team also took part in the events celebrating the Republic Day. Diplomats laid flowers at the Eternal Flame, the plinths of monuments set in the territory of the memorial complex, and the graves of heroes who at different times defended the Land of Pridnestrovie.
