Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandr Stetsiuk met with the UN delegation headed by Roman Shpak, responsible for political issues in Europe and Central Asia at the UN Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs.
The interlocutors touched upon a wide range of issues in the course of the conversation. In particular, they exchanged views on the current regional situation and its impact on the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova. Special attention was paid to the prospects and plans for project cooperation over the next two years within the framework of the UN Peacebuilding Fund.
Concluding the meeting, the interlocutors expressed the hope that substantive dialogue and cooperation would continue for the sake of peace and stability.
