He focused on the main aspects of the current geopolitical situation around Pridnestrovie, the negotiation process with the Republic of Moldova, and the peacekeeping operation.

“The last few years have been an ordeal for the statehood of Pridnestrovie. During this period, the republic faced threats, challenges, degradation of negotiation mechanisms. Active work allowed us to hold our positions, to preserve the international negotiation process and the negotiation mechanism as such in order to minimize the negative impact of the sanctions imposed against Pridnestrovie,” stressed the Foreign Minister.

Separately, Vitaly Ignatiev spoke about the development of relations between Pridnestrovie and the Russian Federation, as well as brotherly republics Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Artsakh.

“One of the most important goals of Pridnestrovian diplomacy is for increasing external pressure to result in the consolidation of the society and the state. This consolidation is built around a clear three-part state ideology of the country and a common understanding of the immutable fact that no one will protect the interests of our citizens except ourselves, except for our own republic,” he emphasized.

Addressing congratulations to the MFA team on the 30th anniversary, Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the human resource potential of the ministry and emphasized that the diplomatic service means people, whose professionalism and responsibility allow to solve the most important problems in the most difficult conditions. The President spoke about the ideological competence and a large knowledge base, confirming the right of Pridnestrovie to international recognition.

“Every employee of the Foreign Ministry as a PMR citizen must realize the inevitability of recognizing the independence of the Pridnestrovian Moldovan Republic and know why we have the right to recognition of our independence. It requires knowing the history of Pridnestrovie as a region, the history of our 32 years of statehood. It requires understanding that for 32 years a community has been formed here, in Pridnestrovie – the Pridnestrovian people,” Vadim Krasnoselsky noted.

The PMR President devoted a part of his speech to the interaction with Russia, noting that the problems associated with the functioning of the Tiraspol consular service point are still relevant and must be solved.

Referring to the question about the qualities that a Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry official should have in order to fully and effectively solve official tasks, the Head of State mentioned understanding of the situation, openness, extensive knowledge, poise, pragmatism and patriotism.
