Today, the Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev with the Head of the OSCE Mission Claus Neukirch.
During the working discussion, the diplomats reviewed the current state of the dialogue between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova given the disruption by the Moldovan side of the 5+2 Permanent Conference meeting due on November 2-3 this year. Possible immediate moves within the negotiation process were also announced, including arranging the meetings at the level of expert (working) groups.
Vitaly Ignatiev and Claus Neukirch paid special attention to transport and banking issues, as well as issues of criminal cases and freedom of movement of Pridnestrovian officials.
Concluding the meeting, the parties agreed to continue regular working contacts on the entire range of relevant areas of interaction.
