On Working Meeting at Rossotrudnichestvo Federal Agency


On August 4, the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) hosted a meeting between the agency's leadership and the Pridnestrovian delegation. The Russian Federation was represented by Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Pavel Shevtsov and Head of Department of Higher Education and Science Alina Anisimova, while Pridnestrovie was represented by Alexander Stetsyuk, Deputy Foreign Minister, and Vitaly Bondar, Assistant to President.

During the meeting, the parties substantively discussed the most pressing issues of the bilateral agenda, in particular, the admission of Pridnestrovian school graduates to universities of the Russian Federation this year, advanced training of officials, municipal employees and school teachers at leading educational institutions of Russia, as well as practical aspects of implemented individual humanitarian projects and other technical assistance from the Agency.

The participants highly appreciated the works accomplished and noted the constructive nature of the interaction, as well as outlined the prospects for further cooperation.
