On July 30, 2021, following the initiative of the Pridnestrovian side, a videoconference of Expert (Working) Groups on Health Care Issues considered the issues of pregnant women vaccination against coronavirus infection. Besides international mediators and observers, the meeting was also attended by representatives of the World Health Organization.
The discussion touched upon practical aspects related to the possibility of pregnant women vaccination, in particular, the preferred vaccine preparations and the optimal timing of their administration, possible risks and monitoring potential complications.
Pridnestrovian specialists expressed their willingness to participate in training seminars on pregnant women vaccination to be arranged by the World Health Organization.
